The Cat Yanks is een rock 'n roll / rockabilly band uit Leiden. De groep werd in 1998 opgericht en heeft een perfecte stijl van spelen en geheel eigen geluid. Ze spelen nummers van de jaren 50 tot 90. Dit album met 20 songs is een welkome aanwinst voor de muziekcollectie van fans van swingende rockabilly en rock & roll. (Het album is ook verkrijgbaar in combinatie met de dvd Live At The Sunhouse).
