Ben Poetiray - The Legend

It has been worth waiting for, this great solo album by legendary musician ''Ben Poetiray''. Ben Poetiray is not an unknown name in the Dutch Indo Rock and Rock 'n Roll scene. In 1962 he started out with his brothers in the group ''The Poetiray Brothers'' and left in 1970 to perform with several Indo Rock groups in Germany. In 1974 he became a member of Reggie Tielmans group Eurasia. When he came back to Holland in the early 80's he played in the group ''The Entertainers for one and a half year. In 1982 he was asked to join the orchestra of the famous ''Tielman Brothers''. Since 1986 he has been playing in several Indo Rock groups and more recently with 'The Legends'' "Java Guitars" and Willy And His Giants. This 15 track album truly gives a great impression of his unique singing and guitar playing qualities and a must for all fans of instrumental guitar and the ,,real'' Indo Rock (rock 'n roll).
